MIDAundici (/ˈmiː.da.unˈdi.tʃi/) creates quiet, effortless wardrobe essentials crafted from handpicked natural fibres. Rooted in Tuscany near Florence, we combine classic Italian garment traditions with a clean, modern silhouette.

We design unpretentious clothing with zero loud logos or restrictive cuts. Every piece is built to handle active daily lives, developing a soft, lived-in character the more it’s worn.

Danilo Michelacci (Mi-Da) established our family company in 1952, building a foundation on durability, precision, and Italian garment craftsmanship.

We still operate from that very same historic building in Calenzano near Florence. Our home hasn't changed since day one, and "undici" simply stands for door number 11, a quiet nod to where our story began.

1985 & Beyond

The Craft of Finishing

Danilo’s son, Francesco Michelacci, grew up immersed in Tuscan textiles. Taking over the family studio, he focused his passion on pioneering small-batch garment dyeing and subtle fabric finishing.

By experimenting on classic t-shirt silhouettes, Francesco developed MIDA’s signature handfeel and soft, lived-in patinas; turning everyday natural-fibre essentials into tactile, quiet craft.
